We have run the HD XRs extensively in duty, carry, and competition and they are NG approved. Experience has taught us that too much visual information in your sight picture is in fact a thing. We prefer blacked out rears with one, highly-visual front pop of color. This aids us not only with acquisition, but as a peripheral landmark during the drawstoke. Honestly the tactical community loves to concern itself with the last 1% of performance when good fundamentals will carry you the bulk of the way. But sights are a preference - and one that you have to choose, so you can have better or worse - lets leave it at that. We love the XRs - they do make things easier, they look fantastic, and they glow when its dark. Thinner posts allow tighter shots at distance since they allow for more precise placement under focus. Just an all-around banger. Available in Yellow or Orange fronts.
