This is a DNA-molded, hard-thermoplastic radio holster, engineered from the ground up as part of the OPEN MIC™ system—built to retain, protect, and deploy under stress without straps, cords, or gimmicks.
 
Dual-Retention, Purpose-Built
The OPEN MIC™ BKR5000 uses two independent retention systems, working together:
Side-Pressure Retention System
A variable mechanical retention device applies controlled pressure to the radio body. Adjustment is simple and precise using a 1/8” Allen key, allowing users to tune retention tighter or looser based on mission, movement, or preference.
ClipLock™ Capture System™
If you retain the factory radio belt clip, the BKR5000 activates a second layer of retention. As the radio is seated, the clip slides down a dedicated channel and locks into a receiver cut, mechanically capturing the radio in place.
No bungees. No tethers. No fabric. Just positive engagement designed specifically for this radio.
