NIP-KLIP™
NIP-KLIP™ (n.):
A purpose-built anchor for people who stopped accepting how it “usually works.”
Front-Routed Mic Anchor System
Most setups assume your cable runs behind the vest.
This doesn’t.
The NIP-KLIP™ exists for officers running their mic from the front—up, not around. That routing changes everything. Without a proper anchor, your mic floats, pulls, and fights you all shift.
This fixes that.
What It Does
The NIP-KLIP™ is a pocket-anchored mic interface designed specifically for state-issued Point Blank Enterprises LBVs. It creates a rigid, low-profile anchor point directly adjacent to your body-worn camera, giving your mic a stable home with true downward tension.
No swing. No drift. No fighting your cable.
How It Works
- Split-body insertion design slides directly into your breast pocket, locking in place without modification
- Creates usable “real estate” for ~1” wide mic clips
- Positions your mic exactly where it should be—tight to the vest, next to your BWC
- Converts soft fabric into a structured mounting surface
Why It Matters
Running cables from the front is a preference many opt for — but only if the anchor point matches the load direction.
The NIP-KLIP™ is built around that reality:
- Downward anchoring force (not upward retention like around-the-back styles)
- Zero reliance on MOLLE spacing inconsistencies
- Stable mic placement under movement, stress, and repetition
Configuration
Users must select:
- Right Breast Pocket (right-hand side of your body)
- Left Breast Pocket (left-hand side of your body)
This ensures proper orientation and load handling based on your setup.
